Foster Black Composit is a technological material used by Foster made of 100% recycled paper with FSC® certification. The material used for the Black Grids and countless other Foster accessories is eco-friendly and cutting edge, used mainly for eco-sustainable designs.
Its unique aspect is essentially due to its composition; it is a composite material produced with 100% FSC® certified and recycled paper, plus cardboard impregnated with a pigmented resin, obtained by “squeezing” cashew nut shells and from natural pigments.
Foster Black Composit is an attractive, natural and cutting-edge material. It reveals its technical properties when used in high-performance applications. It can withstand temperatures up to 180° without affecting the surface; it is 100% water repellent, as well as being eco-friendly and non-toxic (no residual Formaldehyde, no VOC), certified for its suitability for contact with food.
